How to know your skin type

Its very important to us to know what is our skin type , to know which Product to use.

I'm here to help u to know ur skin type , so lets get started .
J

There are 5 basic skin care types: oily, combination (normal), sensitive, dry and sun-damaged.

To do this, wash your face, pat it dry, then take a few pieces cleaning tissue paper and press on different spots on your face. If your skin is oily, the paper will stick, pick up oily spots and become translucent. If the paper doesn't stick or pick up any oily spots, your skin is likely dry. If it sticks in your t-zone (forehead, nose and chin) then you have combination (or normal) skin.
Oily Skin:
Oily skin is shiny skin, especially in the T-zone (from the forehead, down the nose to the chin). You may have enlarged pores, and you may be prone to blackheads, the good thing about oily skin is it ages better than dry skin because the oils keep the skin plump allowing fewer wrinkles to form ,.

Combination/Normal Skin

Combination skin means you may have a slightly oily T-zone and drier cheeks with dry patchy spots here and there. You may also have larger pores on your cheeks and possibly your forehead. This skin type has medium pores, a smooth and even texture, good circulation and a healthy color.

Dry Skin

After you turned 35 your skin magically became much drier , This skin fluctuation can definitely be attributed to hormones. Dry skin feels tight, especially after cleansing. You have a tendency towards fine wrinkles, flaking and red patches. In women of color, skin may appear ashy or dull from dead skin buildup.

Sensitive Skin

Sensitive skin tends to be thin, and delicate with fine pores. If you are easily irritated by the sun, certain cosmetic products and if you are prone to redness, itchy patches or blotchy skin, you likely have sensitive skin.
Finding the right cleansers and moisturizers for your skin type can be tricky. The good news is many companies have developed products specifically for sensitive skin. Look for mild products that contain no scents. Many drugstores and department stores allow you to return products, so check out the return policy before you buy or ask if the store carries freebies so you can try before you buy.

Aging or Sun-damaged Skin

This skin also feels tight with visible wrinkles, slack skin tone -- especially around the cheeks and jaw line -- with leathery texture and broken capillaries.
To care for aging skin, you should consider using moisturizers and heavy creams to plump up your fine wrinkles .

Hope this was helpful for you ..
                                                        Good Luck ....

Skin Care : Honey & Cinnamon Acne Treatment

Hello everyone .

Honey :
Honey is a natural antibacterial agent made up of sugar and water ,Honey also has a low PH , Since one of acne's causes is an overgrowth of bacteria, many home remedies include honey to tamp that growth back down to normal levels .

Tip : U can use the Natural Honey, the one made up by Bees .

Cinnamon :
Like honey, cinnamon has anti-microbial properties and can halt the growth of bacteria.
The George Meteljan Foundation's healthy foods Web site notes that 2 tsp. of cinnamon contains almost 40 percent of the daily recommended value of manganese, along with smaller amounts of fiber, iron and calcium. Cinnamon's beneficial properties come from three essential oils found in cinnamon bark, giving the spice anti-clotting and anti-inflammatory properties.

How to Make the Mask :

To make your own cinnamon and honey acne treatment
 -Get 1 tbsp of honey
-Get 1/4 tbsp of ground cinnamon
-Mix the two together in a small container. You can make extra and save it in the fridge for later use

The result should look something kind of gross like the picture below. Depending on what type of honey and cinnamon you use, it might look darker than this, almost like chocolate syrup .

Applying The Mask :
Once your mixture is ready, apply it on your clean skin with your Clean fingers. It will be sticky and not very pleasant at first, but just try to bear with it.  keep the mask on for 30 minutes OR more than that if YOU can manage it
* If you have acne, acne scars, or dry skin or all three , then you might want to try this!

WARNING :
If you have never used honey or cinnamon on your skin before, you should do a patch test to make sure you don't get a reaction to either of the ingredients. after a patch test, you might still want to try the mask with honey alone, and if that is okay then you can try the mask with both honey and cinnamon .

GOOD LUCK .... ^_^

Hair Care Routine in Six Easy Steps

Step #1: Brush Your Hair :
It may seem like the obvious thing to do, but maybe what you Didn't know is that brushing keeps your hair tangle free and distributes its natural oils throughout the hair. This promotes healthy growth and shine
Step #2: Wash Your Hair :
To know what type your hair  is :
  • Your hair is coarse/dry if it often feels brittle- this means you only need to wash it every second or third day.
  • Your
  •  hair is fine/oily if it feels greasy the day after you wash it- this means you need to wash it daily.
  • Your hair is normal if you wash it one day and it's not too greasy the next- this means you can get away with washing it every other day.
Shampoo Tips
  • Remember to shampoo in small, circular movements; don't forget to target dirt collecting areas such as the nape of your neck.
  • Massaging your scalp will increase blood flow which encourages growth and will stimulate your hair's natural oils (producing shiny locks).
  • Coarse/dry hair will benefit from hydrating shampoos.
  • Fine/oily hair should be washed with a clear shampoo (one that doesn't look creamy).
  • Normal hair can use just about any type of shampoo- just remember to always use good quality products for the best results
Conditioner Tips
o    Similar to body lotion for your skin, conditioner is moisturizer for your hair and will keep your strands hydrated and manageable.
o    For an even application use your hands and a wide-toothed comb.
o    If you've got coarse/dry hair try a hydrating conditioner and apply it right from your roots to your ends.
o    For fine/oily hair use a lightweight conditioner and avoid putting it on your roots (evenly distribute it from the mid-lengths to the ends).
o    For normal hair you can use just about any kind of conditioner, applied from your roots to your ends also.
Step #3: Apply Hair Styling Products :
If you have a hairstyle that needs to use hair products- hairspray for hold, wax for hold and shine, or serum for shine and to maintain fly-away pieces- then don't use too much! You might end up weighing your hair down and reducing its volume, or just making it greasy and dirty.

REMEMBER "less is more"
Also, don't forget to protect your hair. If you style your hair with a hair straightener or blow-dryer, it's very important to protect your hair with heat protecting products, and to give your hair a break every few days from the stress of using hair accessories and hairstyling tools  .
Step #4: Style Your Hair.
Step #5: Brush Your Hair Again at Night:
Brushing your hair again at night will help you to untangle any knots that made their way into your locks during the day.
Step #6: Secure Your Hair at Night :
Securing your hair at night with a simple ponytail will make sure your locks don't get snagged or tangled as you sleep.
There you have it, a simple daily routine (and some great hair care tips). It's not hard to follow, it won't have you spending all of your hard earned cash, and most importantly, it will get your hair in the best condition possible.

Better Skin in 5 Simple Steps

Skin care
 :

What is skin care ?
Is it just a bar of soap or there is something eles to do ?
How good is it for us to have a better skin ?

so many Questions we asked ourself , but what is the answer ?

Skin care is something u do to ur skin to make it healther and feels better and lookin Glow ,

" If you do nothing else, cleansing is the single most important thing you can do for your face "

men's skin care has come a long way from the days when ur father would wash his face with a bar of soap and cover up shaving nicks with bits of toilet paper . Today there are alot of Products specially formulated to meet what our skin needs .

get a better skin in 5 simple steps

1: Cleanse

it's not only a bar of soap , soap makes ur skin dryer than desert LOL
what u need is a basic gel works  just fine , but not all facial cleansers are created equal , look for one that is strong enough to cut through grease and yet gentel and affordable enough to be used at lest once a day .

2: Exfoliate ( scrub )

sometimes cleaning the skin with a simple face wash just is not enough ,
a cleanser wash away oil and dirts on the surface , but what about the nasty stuff deep down in ur pores ?

a good scrub should have a granules to help smooth the skin and Limit the growth of hair inside the pores

there is so many scrub products to use , pick the one is good for u
how u can know what is  good for u , u should know whats ur skin type and then u know what scrub u should use

u cant use scrub daily scrub only used once a week . coz what scrub do is peeling the skin but there is some scrubs that it wrote on it a daily use , u can use this 2 or 3 time a week .

3: Moisturize : a light moisturizer can fix everything . it replenishes the skin's moisture contnt and prevents razor burn.
a moisturizer whith SPF ( sun Protector ) will also Protect ur skin from the sun .
and A moisturizer with multi spectrum takes care of ur skin

4: Protect your eyes

there is one place on the face that men almost never touch , but the area around the eyes is the only area that deserves special attention , because men don't age the same way that woman do

this area is the most sensetive area in the face soo be careful when u touch it ,
all what u have to do is , use an eye cream or mask , just gentle put the cream under the eyes and massage it roundly gentle from inside to outside circle rounds that will help for less puffiness under the eyes

5: Protect ur lips

the skin here is incredibly thin to severe dryness cracking , bleeding , and burnings from exposure to the elements thats because the lips lack both oil glands to keep them naturally moisturize

all what u should use is lip balm with SPF once a day or when u need it

in the end i just want to say

great skin care for men doesn't have to be an expensive lotions or products , just a simple products will help ur skin

Thankfully . Taking care of  your skin no longer carries  the embarrassing

It is normal ...... even its ur skin ,, isn't it :)
